Whether you need expert asphalt sealcoating, paving, or repairs, we’re here to help you achieve the best results for your property!

Sealcoating

Seal Coating

There are many benefits to sealcoating the asphalt to your driveway or parking lot. Think of sealcoating more of as a preventative maintenance for your diveway or parking lot, similar to how you paint your home to keep the weather from deteriorating the wood.

Sealcoating the asphalt, seals the small cracks that can turn into large cracks and prevents water from seeping down to the base material. The dark black color of newly applied sealcoat improves the appearance of new and old asphalt, making your driveway or parking lot look near brand new.

New sealcoating can preserve the resilience of asphalt surfaces and help hide small cracks, patches and rough spots as well as making traffic lines on parking lots more visible. Sealcoat that is applied correctly makes your asphalt driveway look cleaner because rain washes dirt and debris easily away from the smooth, non-porous surface.

Recycled Asphalt Millings

Recycled asphalt Millings

Asphalt millings are often considered recycled asphalt pavement; essentially, they’re former asphalt projects being crushed into gravel. Because no new materials are used in creation or needed to be transported, cost is severely diminished.

Looking for something that involves less time for you? Asphalt millings requires no refinishing, resurfacing, or replacing. It also hardens over time, strengthening as it goes instead of weakening.

Worried about the weather? Recycled asphalt pavement gravel is also less susceptible to the elements. As a bonus, it produces less dust and mud, making less of a cleanup needed for you in your home or businesses! Recycled asphalt can be used in a variety of different uses – both where you would traditionally use either stone gravel or hot asphalt.

Looking for an environmentally friendly and cost-effective material for your paving projects? Asphalt millings may be just what you’ve been looking for!

Grading

Grade Work

Preparing a stable foundation is a very important aspect of any asphalt paving or repair project. This includes a solid subgrade along with building a strong aggregate base over the top of the subgrade. Grading is also what determines the slope of your pavement. All long-lasting pavements must have enough slope to ensure the water will run off to the appropriate place.

Saw-Cut

Saw-Cutting

At C.R. Paving we use only diamond cutting blades to ensure your saw-cuts are performed to spec, no matter how difficult the cut. We can saw-cut roads, parking lots, sidewalks, concrete curbs for repair and reconstruction, and neat-line old asphalt to give a nice, clean joint line. No matter the size of the job, C.R. Paving can provide you with a clean cut quickly.

Asphalt Repair Service

Patching & Damge Repair Service

C.R. Paving offers cut and patch services to repair troublesome areas like potholes, excessive cracking and low areas that collect water. The process involves saw-cutting excavation and repaving to correct these issues.  This method can be an affordable alternative versus repaving an entire driveway or parking lot area.

Tar & Chip Stone

Tar & Chip

Tar-and-chip driveways are attractive and have been used for over 100 years to resurface driveways. Tar and chip are virtually maintenance-free. They are less expensive than asphalt and are available in many colors and shades of stones.

Tar and chip can be applied right over an existing base, such as blacktop, concrete or gravel.

First, a 1/4-inch layer of hot liquid asphalt (tar) is applied on top of the base. This liquid

binds the base to the stone chips and acts as a water seal.

A layer of loose stone is then spread over the hot tar and raked to cover.

The stones are embedded into the tar with a rolling machine.
